How to read a Yuva Sathi status on the government portal, and what the result words usually mean.
This page does not check your application. It will not ask for an Aadhaar number, a bank account, a mobile number, or an OTP.
Steps on the government portal
- Open the official portal, yubasathi.wb.gov.in, in your browser.
- Choose Application Status, or the status link shown on that homepage.
- Enter the mobile number, registration number, or other detail the portal itself asks for.
- Complete the captcha or OTP on that government page. Never type an OTP into any other site.
- Read the status on the screen. It may say submitted, under verification, approved, or rejected.
If the portal complains

| Captcha fails | A character was misread. | Zoom in and enter it again. |
| Old status | Records are updated in batches. | Check again the next day before assuming a decision. |
What the result words mean
| Status | Meaning | Next step |

| Submitted | The form is in the system and review has not finished. | Wait. No fee can speed this up. |
| Under verification | Staff are checking documents or the bank link. | Look again after a few days. |
| Approved | The record was accepted for payment. | Watch the bank SMS on the next cycle. |
| Payment initiated | A transfer has been sent for processing. | Give the bank a short window, then check the passbook. |
| Rejected | A rule or a document did not match. | Read the remark on the portal before doing anything else. |
